![]() ![]() After the water park, we went to the gift shop before leaving and that was a hit as well. The ice cream at the ice cream shop was also bleh. I was hesitant after the bad breakfast but it was good. The water park afterwards was so much fun though. I’m sure being excited for the day added to this but the food quality was definitely a factor. All the kids in our group refused to eat. Skip breakfast and go out to a breakfast place nearby. I agree with others, this is cafeteria food at best. We purchased the breakfast buffet before heading to the water park next am. We also visited the arcade which was like any other arcade at a bowling alley or family fun center and my daughter loved it. Many families come all dressed up in Great Wolf matching pajamas and parents and kids were having a great time. We had a great time at the nightly dance party. The hotel decor and theme is what really stands out. We got a group deal in October 2020 and came with my daughters small school for a night. We felt incredibly claustrophobic because the place was absolutely packed and there's literally zero outdoor areas that are accessible. One thing I think would make Great Wolf a lot better is some sort of outdoor lawn/grassy area/ seating for kids to run around or adults to hang out just to get some fresh air. This started almost immediately after leaving the resort so I can only assume it's from spending countless hours breathing the overly chlorinated, musty air inside the water park. Finally, since we've been home my throat has been sore and my allergies horrible. In fact no food items we ordered the entire time were even "ok". ![]() We paid to eat at the restaurant (buffet) and it all seemed to be food that had been reheated and just blah. The price of this place is a luxury price and nothing about it is luxury. We reserved a loft room and it was dark, dingy, had a faint smoke smell and looked like a motel 6. ![]() We just returned from a one night stay and it will probably be our last. We've been to Great Wolf a few times in the past and always had ok experiences. ![]()
